Duma

SONY DSC

This is another one from my prized portfolio, Duma. Duma is Kiswahili for Cheetah. We came across this one and his brother several times across our Safari. One moment at the middle of the day however we found them once more sleeping in the grass. They were unusually at peace with us, and so we were able to drive up very close to them. This regal pose was shot, with the cheetah being just 5 metres away!

Wild

Wild

Driving through Kruger National Park we came across this large herd of Zebra just grazing on the edge of the road. The vegetation was very tall which made photographing them quite difficult, but that didn’t stop this one from getting his moment in the spotlight.

African Heartland

SONY DSC

Many photos are taken every year in Africa, either on Safaris, Photography Tours, and more. There are none more photogenic however than those of the Masaai Mara, most often seen as the African Heartland.

Youth in Motion

Youths are always important all around the world, regardless of location or even species. They are the future generations. Especially in terms of the world’s declining biodiversity, it’s very important for us to preserve and respect the youthful wildlife in their natural habitat.
